Module III: IFSP outcomes in natural environments

Outcomes

Attainment of these competencies results in the following outcomes for First Steps providers.

Early intervention personnel will have the :

 

1. Ability to gather, synthesize, and interpret information through the use of appropriate informal and formal screening, evaluation and assessment methods, observations, and procedures.

 

2. Ability to provide services and supports for infants and toddlers and their families based on strategies that work best to build services into the context of the natural environment and routines.

 

The goal of this training is to provide you with learning opportunities to enhance your skills to work within teams that include families to develop IFSPs that provide appropriate early inter­vention services and comply with state and federal regulations. To meet these goals, this training will cover these skills.
