Welcome to the main page for Module II: Evaluation and Assessment
Overview:
The evaluation and assessment training covers screening, evaluation and the eligibility process, assessment and the IFSP planning process as well as writing evaluation and assessment reports and how procedural safeguards apply to the evaluation and assessment process. This training also explores informed clinical opinion, the natural environment and the First Steps beliefs statements.
The Evaluation and Assessment module training covers the steps in gathering information to determine First Steps eligibility and to develop the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). For the purpose of this training the term evaluation is used specifically in the context of determining eligibility into the program.
