This is the site to start training for classroom professional development, mentoring, discussion groups, webinars, and communities of practice for programs sponsored by Effective Practices.

First Steps (FS): Here you can find information and links to complete all the modules needed for certification for your speciality. Within each module there are suggestions for how to learn the material and time expectations for each unit in the module. As this site grows there will be updates for those already practicing as affected by new laws and recognized best practices for serving families.
Positive Behavior Supports (PBS): Access the communities of practice, archives, discussion threads and how to strengthen your implementation of PBS by contacting teachers that have been using PBS for several years.
